You know you're a Girl Scout if...
Happy Mother’s Day to all the women that have been there for the millions of girls who have been through the scouting world. We are all so blessed to have amazing women help us grow and turn into beautiful young ladies. <3
I love you mom, Mara, Heidi, Dawn, Cathy, Debbie, Denise, and Linda. You guys have honestly shaped me into the young woman I am today.

that moment when you realize that, in less than a year, you’ve gained almost 200 followers to a girl scout blog! rock on ladies!!
Hey I'm a girl scout from Australia, we're called girl guides here :) I was wondering if you knew any good websites for girl scout campfire songs as we have different camp songs in Australia to the ones posted on this wall and I wanted to teach my group some new ones at the next campfire. By the way I love this blog so easy to relate to and laugh about :)

all you really need to do is google “girl scout songs” and it’s about that easy. (:

Hi, I'm a lifetime member (now just a volunteer) with GSSEM, and I was wondering if you would like to get involved with my blog project I'm working on. I'm trying to get scouts and former scouts to post their favorite memories as an older scout (primarily) and on a secondary level create a highly interactive space to encourage older scouts to share ideas, experiences, etc. It's technically for my college course requiring me to create a public memory work, but I'd really appreciate if you'd look!

anyone willing to help is welcome to go and check it out. i plan on it!! (:

wooo!! they’re even!! lol. well, they wont be after this, but thank you everyone who has followed me and is proud to celebrate the 100th year with GSUSA!

ladies! sign’s up!

Do you see this book? It is a Girl Scout Journey book. I have to do this:

  1. Identify a relationship issue you want to take action on.
  2. Brainstorm a solution.
  3. Assess your resources.
  4. Create a realistic plan, including a time line.
  5. Spread the word.
  6. Carry out your Take Action Project
  7. Reflect on your projects results.

In order to do this, I made a new blog called gay-people-are-people-too.tumblr.com. I would really appreciate if you followed it. Since I literally just made it, there are no posts.

The point of the blog is to spread the word about bullying due to sexualities using photos, news stories, testimonials from the bullied (or witnesses and past bullies), and text posts. Anyone can apply to be an admin or submit posts. The ask will always be open and someone will answer with a reasonable and positive reaction. No hate mail will ever be published, so you don’t have to worry about it cloggin up your feed.

I will personally message every person who reblogs this post and/or follows that blog. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this!

ladies let’s help her get to the end of her journey! i know i tried to finish this one and failed miserably at it, so i plan on helping her in any way possible. go check it out, follow, ask questions, whatever she needs. thank you!!

hm, here our "troops" (i don't know if that's the word, but i guess you can understando) are mixed, with boys and girls, but there's no problem, because we're like siblings, a family at all. And our activities are most like knots-camping-climbing things- blahblahblah, and we don't sell cookies .-. must be a funny thing. But the first thing people ask us when they figure out we're scouts is "do you sell cookies?". happy 100th year! (last year was the centenary of scouting in brazil, so nice :] )

happy 100th! i guess scouting is different no matter where you go, so it’s all good. i kind of wish GSUSA accepted guys so it wouldn’t be this big rivalry between us and the boy scouts. but, i’m glad that somewhere everyone’s getting the same scouting experience! and i believe last year was the 100th of boy scouts (don’t quote me on that!) but, happy scouting!

hey! i'ma brazilian scout and, even if we don't have in my country the girls scouts in the same way you do, most of your "confessions" fit here too (: nice job! sempre alerta! (it's our "be prepared":] )

i’m glad that these fit globally!! (: i would love to know what it is like to be a scout in brazil, if you would be willing to share. happy 100th!
